Why these routes

All three days are built out of a quarter of a century of living here rather than out of a list of the region’s greatest hits. That shows up in small decisions: reaching Castle Combe before the coaches, putting a working market town next to a famous village, using the lanes between stops as part of the day rather than as transit.

The Cotswold Edge, in particular, covers ground close to our local base. Coaley Peak, Uley Bury and the valleys around Nailsworth are places chosen from first-hand experience, not because they appear on every standard itinerary.
